APG TYPE ALUMINIUM PG CONNECOTRS

The forged aluminium clamps wasuse for aluminium to aluminium connection throughout the conductor range. The clamps have serrated transverse grooves for maximum conductor contact, use dacromet steel bolts and utilize belleville washers to prevent thermal ratcheting under cyclic loads. The clamps are coated with an oxide inhibitor. And hot-dip galvinized steel bolts and nuts was on requirement, also we can change to stainless bolts and nuts with washers.

Overview

Parallel -groove clamp combined channel connector is applicable to weight disburdening connection of overhead aluminium wire and splicing steel wire. PG series aluminium transitional combined channel connector is applicable to the transitional connection of aluminium applicable to branching connection of different-section.

Parallel groove clamps are mainly used for transmitting current between the interconnected conductors. Besides this main area of application parallel groove clamps are also used for safety loops and therefore they must provide an adequate mechanical holding strength.

Features:

APG Aluminum parallel Groove Clamp is used for tapping or jointing copper conductor to aluminum overhead conductors AAC, AAAC, or ACSR. Forging creates a high strength clamp. Slotted holes allow adjustment for varying conductors to each side.
